Schilthorn
This summit, which lies at 3,000 meters (10,000 ft.), has been famous since the filming of a James Bond film. The amazing view from the top is exceptional, especially since visitors can relax and enjoy a meal in the revolving restaurant while gazing at the panoramic views of the surrounding alpine terrain. From this point, you can also study the numerous hiking possibilities and trails of the surrounding mountains. We recommend that you reserve an entire day for a Schilthorn excursion.
Harderkulm
Referred to by locals as the “home mountain”, the Harder Kulm is Interlaken’s landmark mountain. A funicular transports visitors to the peak, however, interested hikers, who relish a scenic and tranquil trek, can reach the peak within 2.5 hours. At the summit, sit back and relax at the Harder Kulm Restaurant terrace, which guarantees superb views of Interlaken, both lakes, and the surrounding Alps.
